Addresses, services and prices come from each studio’s own website or Clutch profile. Market figures link to their primary sources at the end.
TL;DR: A B2B tech company in Amsterdam needs a branding agency that finds the position its real customers recognise, builds a brand and a website that work in English for international buyers and investors, and keeps the product on the same promise. The Amsterdam studios we checked are Verve, Hike One, Your Majesty, Manual and Momkai. Dutch design agencies report average rates of €109-132 an hour, and most agencies on the first page of Clutch’s Amsterdam branding list state a minimum project of about €8,900 ($10,000+) or about €22,400 ($25,000+). dp.vision starts every project with customer interviews and works remotely from Poznań. It charges €80-90 an hour, its Clutch minimum is about €4,500 ($5,000+), and positioning, brand identity and an 8-10 page website cost about €18,000-32,000.
This guide is for founders of funded or profitable B2B tech companies in Amsterdam, in fields from fintech and payments to climate tech, deep tech and SaaS, who have a round, a launch or an enterprise push coming up. Most lists of Amsterdam branding agencies mix advertising, fashion and e-commerce studios and give neither prices nor sources. This one covers what a B2B tech company needs, what it costs in euros and how to choose.
What should a branding agency do for a B2B tech company in Amsterdam?
For a B2B tech company, branding means deciding what buyers and investors should believe about you, and then making the identity, the website, the product and the pitch all say the same thing. The logo is the visible end of that work.
The work has four connected parts.
- Positioning from customer interviews. This means finding out who buys, why they switch, what they compare you with and which words they use.
- A brand that works in English. You need an identity, a tone of voice and a website that an international buyer, investor or procurement reviewer understands within minutes.
- Product and UX. The demo, the onboarding and the interface have to keep the promise the website makes, or you lose deals later in the funnel.
- The investor and buyer narrative. The pitch deck and the sales deck tell the same story at different depths. We explain how in pitch deck, website and sales deck: one story, three jobs.
When each part goes to a different vendor, each vendor reinterprets the story and the message drifts.
What makes the Amsterdam tech market different?
Four facts from primary sources shape the brief for an Amsterdam B2B tech brand.
The city invests in its own ecosystem. StartupAmsterdam is an action programme that the City of Amsterdam created in 2015. It runs more than 40 projects, initiatives and campaigns with the private sector, and its Amsterdam Startup Map is powered by Dealroom. The city’s list of accelerators includes the ABN AMRO + Techstars Future of Finance Accelerator, the CASSINI Business Accelerator for space startups (run by Plug and Play), Startupbootcamp and Rockstart. If the US is your next market, note ScaleNL, a US market entry programme for Dutch (deep) tech companies that have proven product-market fit at home.
Payments and fintech set a high bar. The City of Amsterdam names Adyen, Mollie and bunq as homegrown startups that became unicorns. If you sell into payments or finance, these are the brands your buyers see every day, so a vague category message stands out for the wrong reasons.
Deep tech is growing, and most of its later-stage money comes from abroad. According to Dealroom’s Amsterdam Deep Tech Report 2026, produced in partnership with the City of Amsterdam, the city’s VC-backed deep tech startups are worth $8.8B in 2026, up from $4.0B in 2021. The same report found that Dutch investors supplied 56% of early-stage deep tech funding but only 23% at the breakout stage, where investors from the rest of Europe supplied 51%. For a deep tech company, this means the investors at the breakout round are probably not Dutch, so the narrative has to work for someone who has never heard of you. Local funds are active too. Prime Ventures in Amsterdam says it has over €875 million of capital invested, and Peak, with offices in Amsterdam, Berlin and Munich, writes initial tickets of €500,000 to €5 million in pre-seed and seed SaaS, marketplace and platform companies.
English is the working language. The Netherlands ranks first of 123 countries and regions in the EF English Proficiency Index 2025, with a score of 624. An English-first website is normal here, which also means it competes with every other English-language tech brand.
TNW Conference held its last Amsterdam edition on 19-20 June 2025 at NDSM, and in September 2025 Sifted reported that the conference was shutting down and would not return in 2026. A launch plan built around TNW needs a new anchor.
Dutch buyers or international buyers: who is the brand for?
Usually both, with the international buyer setting the standard. Dutch buyers read English well, so an English master story rarely costs you anything at home. Weak positioning tends to hurt once you go abroad.
Between markets, the proof changes more than the language does. A US buyer wants to see that you are proven and a safe choice. A German or Swiss buyer reads your website for precision, accountability and a team they can reach. We describe both tests in entering the US or DACH: what a European B2B startup should change. If you are also choosing a studio for the US market, see our ranking of San Francisco branding agencies. Enterprise buyers everywhere also pass your website on to security and procurement reviewers, so see what enterprise procurement checks on your website as well.
Write one English message map from customer interviews, then add Dutch pages only where buyers make decisions in Dutch, as in public sector or local SME sales.
Why should positioning start with interviews with real customers?
Founders are the people least able to see their company the way a buyer does. Customer interviews show which problem buyers think they are solving, what they compare you with and which proof convinces them. Workshops with your own team only show what you already believe.
That is where every dp.vision project starts. We find out what your customers value, then build the offer, the brand and the product around it, because research decides the message and the message decides what we design and build. Two examples, with results as reported by our clients. For PaceSovereign, interviews with prospective clients, advisers and physicians set the position. The landing page went live in 11 days and the MVP in 8 weeks, and the company had 3 investor meetings in its first month. For SkyInspection, the new positioning and website brought 23 inbound demo requests in three months and 2 enterprise pilots signed through the site.
Ask every agency who they will interview, who will run the interviews and what happens if the answers contradict your current pitch. A studio that cannot answer those questions is selling design rather than positioning.
What does a branding agency in Amsterdam cost?
Few Amsterdam studios publish project prices, so the most reliable figures are Dutch hourly rates and the minimum project sizes that agencies state on Clutch.
Hourly rates in euros. The BNO Branchemonitor 2025, the annual survey of the Association of Dutch Designers, reports these average hourly rates for 2023:
| Who | Strategy work (average / median) | Design work (average / median) |
|---|---|---|
| Freelancers | €92 / €95 | €90 / €90 |
| Design agencies | €132 / €140 | €109 / €117 |
| Agencies with 15+ people | €148 / €160 | €117 / €128 |
| dp.vision | €80-90 | €80-90 |
The BNO notes that fewer designers answered the 2025 survey (37 agencies and 73 freelancers, out of 1,733 members invited), so treat the figures as an indication rather than a representative sample. They are also national figures, not Amsterdam-only ones.
Minimum project sizes. Clutch lists 259 branding companies in Amsterdam. Of the 47 agencies with an Amsterdam location on the first page of that list (checked 3 November 2026), 20 state a minimum project of about €8,900 ($10,000+) and 9 state about €22,400 ($25,000+), while only 2 start at about €44,700 ($50,000) or more. The most common hourly bands are about €90-135 ($100-149, 14 agencies) and about €135-180 ($150-199, 11 agencies). Clutch shows these figures in US dollars, which we converted to euros at the European Central Bank reference rate for 3 November 2026 and rounded. A minimum is a floor, not a typical price.
What that means for a real scope. In our scoping, positioning from customer interviews, brand identity and an 8-10 page website take roughly 230-350 hours. At the BNO’s average agency rates of €109-132 an hour, that comes to about €25,000-46,000. This is our own arithmetic, not a quote from any studio.
Our prices. dp.vision charges €80-90 an hour. Positioning with customer interviews, brand identity and an 8-10 page website costs about €18,000-32,000. A full scope after a round, as in the PaceSovereign project (research, branding, pitch deck, investor relations support, product demo and MVP), costs about €37,000-55,000. The fixed price is agreed before work begins. AI-assisted production keeps our timelines short and our budgets efficient. For a model-by-model view of branding costs, see our branding cost breakdown.
Which Amsterdam studios do branding and product design for tech?
How we built this shortlist
A studio made the list only if it had a live website, an Amsterdam address on its own site or Clutch profile, branding or digital product design as a core service, and tech or B2B work among its own case studies. We quote what each studio says it does and give a price signal from Clutch or its own site, or “On request” where there is none. The order is not a quality ranking, since we cannot verify portfolio quality or client results from the outside.
Disclosure: dp.vision has no Amsterdam office. Our team and operating company are in Poznań, Poland, and our US company, dp.vision, is registered in Delaware. We work remotely.
| # | Studio | Amsterdam address | What they do (their words or Clutch) | Tech work they show | Price signal |

| 2 | Verve | Archangelkade 30b (also The Hague) | “Strategic rebranding agency for tech companies” | Miro, Bynder, Lebara, Zenchef | On request |
| 3 | Hike One | Spuistraat 35a | Digital product design for complex, business-critical software | TKP Pension, Lightyear, Liberty Global | On request (undisclosed on Clutch) |
| 4 | Your Majesty | Koivistokade 78B | Brand and digital agency, part of Infinum | Skytree (climate tech), Accessiway | Clutch min. about €22,400 ($25,000+), about €90-135/hr ($100-149) |
| 5 | Manual | Lijnbaansgracht 297H (also San Francisco) | “The brand studio for ambitious ideas” | Waabi, New Orbit | On request (undisclosed on Clutch) |
| 6 | Momkai | Weteringstraat 39 A | Strategic design agency for founders and organisations | Cibus, De Correspondent | Clutch min. about €8,900 ($10,000+), about €135-180/hr ($150-199) |
1. dp.vision (Poznań, Poland, remote; US company in Delaware)
We make complex B2B technology easier to understand, trust and buy. dp.vision is a studio of more than 20 people and has been working since 2022. We work for funded or profitable, founder-led B2B tech companies, from pre-seed (after the round) through Series B, that have a milestone 4-16 weeks away. One team carries the thinking through positioning, brand identity, the website, the pitch and the product. You always work with a strategist, and the person who ran your interviews reviews the build. Most of our clients are in the US and the UK.
Selected results, as reported by our clients: DigiData got a strategy, a modular identity and an eight-page website in two months, and afterwards recorded 3.2x more signups. For Zeox, a fund linking CEE AI founders with US capital, we built an identity and a website with three audience journeys. Edutailor got its brand and a landing page in 5 days, followed by 3x longer time on the website. The DailyMuse landing page turns 12.4% of its organic traffic into email sign-ups.
Limitation: We have no Amsterdam office, so in-person workshops need planning, but we work in the same time zone.
2. Verve (Amsterdam and The Hague)
Verve describes itself as “a strategic rebranding agency for tech companies, built for the AI era” that works with technology companies “at the moment that matters: funding, M&A, a pivot, going international.” It says it has built or transformed 300+ brands since 2007 and has twice been named European Design Agency of the Year. Its site shows work for Miro, Bynder, Lebara, Zenchef, Nuvion and Inbox Monster. The Amsterdam office is at Archangelkade 30b. We found no Clutch profile and no published prices.
Best for: scale-ups facing a defined brand moment, such as a round, a merger or international expansion.
3. Hike One (Amsterdam)
Hike One is a digital product design agency that says: “We help organisations make complex, business-critical software understandable and usable.” Its services are product discovery, product realisation and product coaching, plus an AI Design Sprint that opens with two workshop days. Its case studies include TKP Pension, a companion app for Lightyear’s solar car and Liberty Global. The Amsterdam office is at Spuistraat 35a, and Hike One also has workshop space in Rotterdam. On Clutch, its service mix is 60% UX/UI design and 30% branding, and its project size is undisclosed.
Best for: companies whose bottleneck is the product itself, such as dashboards, portals, configurators or complex workflows.
4. Your Majesty (Amsterdam)
Your Majesty calls itself a “brand and digital agency in Amsterdam, part of Infinum,” that builds “future-proof brands, digital products and AI-ready experiences,” with work ranging from positioning and identity to UX and web platforms. Its tech work includes a new website and brand narrative for Skytree, a Dutch climate tech scale-up building direct air capture, and a repositioning of Accessiway “from compliance vendor to human-centric accessibility leader.” The studio is at Koivistokade 78B. Clutch lists a minimum project of about €22,400 ($25,000+) and rates of about €90-135 an hour ($100-149).
Best for: scale-ups that want the brand and a sizeable digital build from one agency.
5. Manual (Amsterdam and San Francisco)
Manual calls itself “the brand studio for ambitious ideas.” It says it works globally out of San Francisco and Amsterdam, and its Amsterdam studio is at Lijnbaansgracht 297H. Its case studies include brand refreshes for Waabi (“a brand that moves with intelligence”) and Care.com, and a startup launch for New Orbit. Clutch lists both its minimum project size and its hourly rate as undisclosed.
Best for: companies that want a strong identity and brand story from a studio with offices in both Europe and the US.
6. Momkai (Amsterdam)
Momkai describes itself as “a strategic design agency for ambitious founders and organizations” and offers brand strategies, verbal and visual identities and websites. Its work includes the brand for Cibus, which it describes as “a Nasdaq-listed leader in agricultural gene editing,” and the growth of De Correspondent, which Momkai calls the largest member-driven platform after Die Zeit and The Guardian. The studio is at Weteringstraat 39 A. Clutch lists a minimum project of about €8,900 ($10,000+) and rates of about €135-180 an hour ($150-199).
Best for: mission-driven founders building a brand around a community or a cause.
Checked but not listed: Edenspiekermann’s contact page lists eight offices, none of them in the Netherlands. Daasign designs for B2B SaaS but is based in Rotterdam. Studio Carbon shows an Amsterdam headquarters on Clutch, but its own site says it is primarily based in India. Build in Amsterdam builds brands and digital flagship stores for commerce, not B2B tech.
How do you choose the right agency?
Start with the problem, then look at portfolios. If buyers do not understand what you sell, you need positioning and brand. If they drop off in the product, you need product design. And if investors and buyers hear different stories, you need one narrative across the website, the decks and the product.
Questions to ask every studio on your shortlist:
- Which of our customers and prospects will you interview, and who will run the interviews?
- What will you do if the interviews contradict our current pitch?
- Who carries the strategy into the website, the decks and the product, and is that the same person?
- Which B2B tech projects at our stage can you show, and what changed for the client afterwards?
- Is the price fixed before work begins, and what do we own at the end (design files, code, CMS)?
Red flags that should end the conversation:
- Moodboards before any questions about your buyers. That is decoration, and it skips the hard part.
- “Research” that means a workshop with your own team. It shows what you believe, not what buyers value.
- Separate vendors for brand, website and pitch with no shared message map. You will end up with three stories.
- No price signal at all. You cannot tell whether you are discussing €15,000 or €150,000.
- A portfolio of only consumer, fashion or campaign work. The craft may be strong, but it was made for a different buyer.
What does a good project look like, step by step?
A typical project takes four to sixteen weeks and runs in this order.
- Interviews with customers, prospects and, if possible, a lost deal, plus the founders and the sales team.
- Positioning and a message map that set out the audience, the problem, the alternative you replace, the proof and the words buyers use.
- Brand identity, meaning the visual identity, tone of voice and templates, all built from the message.
- A website, usually 8-10 pages in English, with the proof that procurement reviewers look for.
- Product and demo work, such as onboarding, key flows or an MVP that keeps the website’s promise.
- Pitch and sales decks that tell investors and buyers the same story at different depths.
A website started before the interviews end describes what the team believed on day one.

Frequently asked questions
Which branding agency in Amsterdam is best for a B2B tech company?
It depends on the problem you need to solve. Verve rebrands tech companies at moments such as a funding round, M&A or international expansion. If the product itself is hard to use, Hike One designs complex, business-critical software. Your Majesty combines brand work with digital products and has climate tech in its portfolio, while Manual and Momkai are brand studios whose clients include tech and mission-driven companies. dp.vision, a remote studio based in Poznań, Poland, suits funded B2B tech teams that want positioning, brand, website, pitch and product from one team, built on interviews with their real customers.
How much does a branding agency cost in Amsterdam?
Do I need a branding agency or a product design (UX) agency?
If buyers do not understand what you sell, start with positioning and brand. If they understand it but struggle to use the product, start with product design. Many scale-ups need both, so ask whether one team will carry the message from the brand into the website and the product.
Should a Dutch B2B tech brand be in English or Dutch?
If you sell or raise money outside the Netherlands, write the master story in English. The Netherlands ranks first of 123 countries and regions in the EF English Proficiency Index 2025, so English rarely puts off Dutch buyers. Add Dutch pages where your buyers are in the Dutch public sector or are local SMEs.
Can the same agency build our pitch deck and sales narrative?
Ideally yes, and at the very least the same story should drive both. The website, the investor deck and the sales deck tell one story at different depths, and when someone else rewrites the deck from scratch, the message drifts. dp.vision builds pitch decks from the same customer interviews that shape the positioning.
Do I have to hire an agency based in Amsterdam?
No. A local studio helps if you want frequent in-person workshops, but otherwise the method, the portfolio and shared working hours matter more than the address. Poland and the Netherlands are in the same time zone, so a remote studio such as dp.vision keeps the same hours as an Amsterdam team.
